Emad El-Azhary (Vice Chairman and Managing Director of TE Data) has announced that the first month of the implementation of the new ADSL initiative orchestrated by the Ministry of Information & Communication Technology has witnessed a significant increase of the ADSL service subscribers in TE Data subscribers’ base.

The subscribers of TE Data has increased 60% in one month, 35% of the new subscription chosen the new limited package introduced by the initiative (45 LE/Month with 2 GB limitation).

With 320 thousands subscribers to the ADSL services TE Data dominates the ADSL market in Egypt, TE Data alleged to have 48% market share of ADSL market in Egypt.
TE Data is an Internet company and subsidiary of Telecom Egypt, TE Data also operates in Jordan.

Microsoft lost an anti-trust appeal at the European Court of First Instance upheld the 2004 court order for a 497 Million Euros fine on Microsoft, also the court ordered Microsoft to reveal secrets of their windows operating system and provide an unbundled Windows version!

Microsoft still got two months to appeal the appeal in the European Court of Justice???!!!

Kuwaiti journalist Fouad Al-Hashim wrote an article published on Al-Watan newspaper attacking the Egyptian nation using sever derogatory terms!

The Kuwaiti journalist described the Egyptians as “priced equally to a Korean washing machine”!

This describes the perception of a lot of the Kuwaiti citizen and the derogatory status they place the Egyptian and other nationalities in it!

The Arab Advisor Group has published a report on the ADSL prices in the Arab world! the report date was on March 2007!

So I included an article in Arabic from Al-Riyadh newspaper about the report read yourself

The report praises Egyptian ADSL experience as Egypt managed to provide the lowest price in Arab countries.

Yes I know it is too late to write about that! but unfortunately I didn’t have the time to blog about Sheik Salamoni and the incident in Regent's Park!
But I read an article in Al-Aharam newspaper about an interview with Sheik Salamoni, in this interview he described the incident and what the Irish criminal did to him.

To summarize the article the criminal Brian Donegan pretended to want a conversation with sheik Salamoni alone, the sheik invited him to his office and suddenly the attacker Brian Donegan started the attack with popping up the left eye of the Sheik, and then he vigorously continued to attack the Sheik with a small cross in his hand against the other eye.

It is worth mentioning that Sheik Salamoni has gone completely blind after the incident!

What is really saddening me is the fact that I been trying to gather information about the incident from the western media regarding this incident and I couldn’t find a even a picture of the Sheik!!

The only available news article is on BBC and is very trivial and the title doesn’t even contain the religious Identity of the cleric!

I really wonder if the attacker was Muslim and the victim was Christian would the news be neglected like The Salamoni incident!

Hossam Mohamad Salim Abul Hassan AND Jamal Mohamad Abdul Shafi were taking in by Kuwaiti police forces for unknown reason and they were tortured by hitting using plumbing pipes and wooden sticks, they were also burned by spilling acids on their backs, necks, feet, and genitals!

The victims reported the torture for the juridical officials which in return ordered them to be transferred to the medical examiner.

The reason for detention that was stated by Kuwaiti police is that they were suspects in forging work permits in Kuwait, and they resisted arrest.

The police couldn’t charge the victims so they transferred them to the departure person (a person which they jail align in order to transfer them to their countries), but they didn’t obtain passports of the victims (Egyptian embassy also refused to issue passports to the victims).

On this day Michael Dennis Rohan set Al-Aqsa mosque on fire in an attempt to burn it down in order to allow the Jews of Israel to rebuild the Temple on the Temple Mount and thus hasten the second coming of Jesus as the Messiah to rule the world for one thousand years.

Palestinian authorities are accused of blackmailing Palestinian citizens who are trapped in Egyptian side of Rafah crossing according to Al-Arabiya.net website, for each citizen to cross he/she pay 100 USD and 40 USD for the luggage!

They are accused of falsely claim that they send names to the Israelis for approval which is not the case!

Khalil Abu Shamala (director of “Al-Damir” human rights organization) confirmed that his organization received many complaints about organized blackmailing and bribing performed by certain persons that are well known to all of those in Al-Arish.

Abu Shamala described the incidents as a scandal.

So long for the credibility of the Palestinian Authorities.

I was in the middle of the usual life struggle raging thoughts of survival, problems and responsibilities, and bam!!! Came the phone call.

It was 3:00 AM couldn’t think of it much because of the troubles I was having at the time.

But when I was in the mosque (Salat al Janaza) I burst into tears, I couldn’t believe she is dead!

We lost her!!!

She was nice, kind, tender, loving, caring person, she didn’t upset anyone in her life, she used to treat me like her son! Used to text me even more than her son used to text me! We all miss her!

Hey it is the Shark week! They are not that bad :D

Many of you are still under the influence of the movie Jaws for Steven Spielberg that conveyed sharks as a dreadful predator, well it is not true! Sharks are predators but not to such extent!

I dived before next to a tiger shark! It was not scary, actually the shark got scared of the bubbles that my Scuba apparatus produced!!

Read in Wikipedia about Shark Attack and you will learn that the chances of being struck by a lightning are higher than being killed in a shark attack!

I called the customer service of Vodafone Egypt to change my tariff from Vodafone Free to Vodafone Easy!!!

I couldnt believe when she told me that I have to pay 173 EGP to change my tariff!!

The Egyptian suspects of raping 18 children Hajaj El Saedi (pictured), has been denied his basic right of meeting with his lawyer!!!
No body even met the guy not his lawyer neither his relatives nor anyone!!

In the mean while an advertising company started to circulate a campaign through SMS about the Egyptian suspects.

The SMS contain the following message in Arabic:
“What do you think the appropriate punishment for the Monster of Hawli? Send your answer in a SMS to number (XXXXX)”

I wonder if the suspect was a western citizen?! What they deny him his rights?!
The answer is easy: NO
